An exciting new season

As I am living in the country side, I notice the combiners on the fields very busy bringing the harvest in. For the farmer, this is of course the most exciting part of the agricultural process.

I speak out of own experience. I grew up on a large farm and was involved myself in bringing the harvest in. Long working hours that started early in the morning and could go on late into the night, with hardly any breaks. We needed to work at max capacity when the weather was just right.

When the harvest is brought in, it is not time for idling. It is time to prepare for next harvest. Plowing, tilling and sowing. Something that fills the farmer with satisfaction that almost equals a brought in harvest, is the fields being newly sown, for therein is the next harvest.

As we now move into the autumn, we are very excited about the year to come. We are starting a new round of Bible schools, some in new regions which will mean that there will be great fruit produced in areas earlier not touched. Missions teams will go to ten countries, short term missionaries will go to work shoulder to shoulder with our seasoned missionaries. Our preachers and bible teachers will travel.

Only in September we have two jubilees, Vietnam 10 years and Baku, Azerbaijan 20 years. Side by side we have strong and well established works and more more pioneer situations, so I am very expectant on this coming season. Personally I will travel extensively and will keep you posted on this blog.

As a final note, I want to mention that we had a fantastic Europe Conference. People were so blessed. We went from glory to glory and the Lord really put his mark on the services. If visitors had any question marks concerning how Word of Life was doing and where we are heading, they where straightened out. It was great to have speakers as Jentezen Franklin, Larry Stockstill, John Bevere and Mark Rutland, all endorsing the new leadership and vision of Word of Life. Pastor Joakim Lundquist  spoke on "Relaunch", a fresh new start and also presented plans for a an enlarged Word of Life campus, with some very exciting building projects!

We are looking forward with eagerness and expectancy!

To the ends of the earth,

Christian
